Our 2025 Charity Partner - Smart Works Newcastle

For 2025, Jobsons of Alnwick is proud to announce that our Charity Partner is Smart Works Newcastle. We're passionate about women's rights and supporting greater life opportunities for women and Smart Works aims and objectives do exactly that.

Smart Works Newcastle support North East women into employment through the power of high quality interview clothing and coaching.

A two hour appointment at Smart Works Newcastle can give women the confidence to fulfil their potential, get the job, and transform the trajectory of their lives. The Smart Works Newcastle service can be accessed by all women who are unemployed, aged 16+ and based in the North East.

Since opening in April 2018 Smart Works Newcastle have supported over 1000 women, allowing them to gain employment and financial independence. 

You can help Smart Works Newcastle by donating your interview-appropriate clothing such as smart trousers, shirts, dresses, and blazers for clients, as well as items for our fundraising sales, like designer clutch bags or party dresses. There is a donation station in-store at Jobsons of Alnwick for your to drop off your items which will be periodically taken to the Smart Works centre in Newcastle
